Nelson

   Weekdays 5-10am

If Nelson could have just one wish granted, it would be having enough money to buy his whole family Mickey Mouse hats at Disneyland. Being able to fly comes in a close second.

A self-described happily married man, Nelson is also a father. With a heart much, much bigger than his head, Nelson helps to raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for local children's charities each year.

His biggest radio coups? Actually getting Michael Jackson on the phone during a prank call! With several dozen voices at his disposal, Nelson may always sound different, but his wit and generosity remain constant.

Terry Boyd

Weekdays 5am - 10am

Who would have thought his favorite authors are Tolstoy and Steinbeck? Seems there's more to Terry Boyd than meets the ear. When he's not on the radio you'll find him donating his time to charities, taking a spin in his 2006 Mastercraft x-Star boat and running a construction business.

A father of five boys, Terry is well-versed in what it means to be a friend and a mentor to kids. Every year his show helps raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for children's charities. If he could change one thing about himself? "Being so perfect. It really is exhausting." I guess we'll have to take his word for it.

Stacey Lynn

Weekdays 5am - 10am

Stacey is a typical busy Mom to her family. If “typical” exists in a household with three very young boys! Her oldest is six and proud to show his twin two year old brothers the “ropes.” She and her husband, Tim live in SW Portland. Stacey has been in Portland radio over 14 years.
Her crazy home life prepares her well for her work as part of The Buzz’s Nelson and Terry with Stacey Lynn Morning show.  Being the female voice of reason to the very boy-ish, fast moving personalities of Nelson and Terry can be challenging to keep up with on a daily basis. Their antics can be exhausting.
Stacey’s passion for her family is apparent and she speaks as a genuine soldier in the Mom Army.  She is open about her day to day family challenges and victories (Like an entire day without saying “Stop hitting your brother!”)

Stacey Lynn proudly endorses Xfinity internet only from Comcast.

Sheryl Stewart

Weekdays 10am - 3pm

Even though she's a So Cal girl at heart, she's come to embrace all things Portland, especially bicycling, recycling, amazing restaurants and Voodoo Doughnuts! Sheryl also loves her daughter and husband, cheesy reality TV, crazy news stories, working out at the Oregon Athletic Clubs, reading, and photography.

Sheryl's always looking for new songs to fall in love with, which comes in handy since she's the Music Director here at the Buzz, organizing exclusive concerts with Buzz artists. You will find everything from Michael Jackson to Muse in her collection, but many of her faves of the moment are the very songs you'll hear on the Buzz.

Daria

Weekdays 3pm - 7pm

She's been described as a woman with a Woody Allen brain in a bombshell frame. That's Portland's first female afternoon drive host, Daria.

Armed with more words than Charles Dickens on a deadline, Daria has been painting pictures in the minds of Portlanders for more than twelve years. Her unique sense of humor is captured on "Daria's Local Entertainment Guide," released on CD in 2005.

An avid theater buff, she participates locally in plays, and has been a host for WB32 and PDX49. Just listen and you'll hear why she was voted favorite Portland radio personality/media personality for four consecutive years in independent readers' polls in both Willamette Week and The Portland Mercury

Daria proudly endorses Xfinity internet only from Comcast.

Mitch Elliott

Weekdays 3pm - 7pm

It all started one Christmas when he received a stereo system that allowed him to record his voice. From that moment on, Mitch Elliott knew that radio was the career for him.

With a true passion for the business, Mitch has managed to stay in radio for more than 20 years. How? By not showing up on Fridays. He explains, "That's when they fire ya. If they can't find you, they can't fire you!"

A saxophone player, magician, dog lover and avid fundraiser, Mitch has helped raise more than 2 million dollars during his career for the Make-a-Wish Foundation. Now he's busy raising eyebrows with Daria and Ted.

Mitch proudly endorses Xfinity internet only from Comcast.

Ted Douglass

Weekdays 3pm - 7pm

As a writer, producer and director of sketch comedy, Ted seemed destined for radio-producing greatness! His content creativity is second only to his love of family, movies and video games. You can find his unique movie reviews on "Let's Go to the Movies with Loggia, Walken and Skeletro." We're pretty sure you've never heard movie reviews like this!

With all his hobbies and family fun, it's hard to imagine Ted Douglass has time to be the Producer of the #1 rated afternoon drive radio show in Portand since January 2007. Before that he had been selling doors and windows. And yes, he says, it WAS as exciting as it sounds. Ted says, "But working in radio is about the easiest, most fun job I could imagine having."
